Terms of Service

The terms that apply to firewallmigrate.com and the app at app.firewallmigrate.com.

Last updated 17 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of Firewall Exit Suite, the software service provided by Firewall Migrate at firewallmigrate.com and app.firewallmigrate.com (the “Service”). The Service is provided by VTEK Solutions Ltd, trading as Firewall Migrate, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 08513688, whose registered office is at 103, Crown House, North Circular Road, Park Royal, London, England, NW10 7PN (VAT number GB167405306). Your contract is with VTEK Solutions Ltd. “We”, “us” and “our” mean VTEK Solutions Ltd, trading as Firewall Migrate; “you” means the person or organisation using the Service. By creating an account, buying credits or a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

The Service is designed for professional and business use by network and security engineers.

1. Accounts

  • You sign in with your email address and a one-time code that we email to you. You do not set a password.
  • You must give a working email address that you control, keep access to it secure, and tell us promptly at support@firewallmigrate.com if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Credits, unlocks and plans belong to the account that bought them and may not be sold, shared or transferred to another account without our agreement.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used fraudulently, or whose payments are reversed or disputed. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

2. Licence and acceptable use

Subject to these terms and to paying any applicable charges, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own business purposes and for your clients’ purposes if you are a consultant or managed service provider. Files you generate with the Service are yours to use.

You must not:

  • bypass, disable or interfere with the licensing, export gates, allowances, rate limits or security features of the Service, including by modifying the app’s code in your browser;
  • split, alter or disguise configurations to pay for fewer firewalls, devices or a smaller size tier than you actually convert or review;
  • copy, resell, sublicense or offer the Service (or a substantially similar service built from it) to others, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this and cannot be excluded;
  • upload or process configurations you are not authorised to handle; or
  • use the Service unlawfully, or in a way that harms the Service or other users.

The Service, its software and its content remain our property (or that of our licensors). Product and vendor names are used only to describe compatibility; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any firewall vendor.

3. Your configurations

Configuration files are processed in your browser. We do not receive, store or have access to their contents. To license exports, the app sends us only a one-way fingerprint of a configuration, a one-way hash of its content, rule and device counts and the product used (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your configurations and of the files the Service produces.

4. Plans, credits and allowances

Uploading, converting, reviewing and viewing findings are free. Downloading or exporting results requires credits or a plan for the product concerned. The prices, what each purchase covers and its allowance are shown in the app before you buy.

Credits

  • Credits are bought in packs for one product (for example migration, NSX, SSL-VPN or post-quantum readiness) and can only be used for that product.
  • A migration or NSX unlock covers one source firewall or environment for 90 days, with unlimited re-conversion and export of that firewall within the size tier paid for. The size tier depends on the number of rules (for example ACL entries plus NAT rules). The configurations recorded under one unlock add up: if they together exceed the tier paid for, an upgrade for the difference is needed.
  • SSL-VPN credits are used per device; post-quantum readiness reports per report size.
  • Credits do not expire. Credits used for an unlock are not returned if you later export less or stop using it.

Plans and caps

  • Subscription plans (including consultant, MSP and SSL-VPN MSP plans) include an allowance of credits, devices or units per billing month or per subscription year, as described in the app at purchase. No plan is unlimited.
  • Using the same firewall again in the same allowance window is free; a larger configuration of it uses only the difference. An SSL-VPN device is counted once per account.
  • When an allowance does not cover a use, the export stays locked. You can then unlock it with credits of that product at the normal credit price, or move to a larger plan. Unused allowance does not carry over to the next window, and used allowance is not returned.
  • Per-device plans (post-quantum readiness and PCI rule review) cover the number of devices you subscribe for in each paid billing period. PCI devices with more than 1,000 rules need the large tier.
  • New uses are only unlocked while the current period of the plan has been paid.

5. Prices, billing and VAT

  • Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and exclude VAT. VAT (and any other applicable sales tax) is added at checkout where it applies and shown before you pay.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
  • One-off purchases are charged when you buy. Subscriptions are charged in advance at the start of each billing period (monthly or yearly).
  • If a subscription payment fails, the plan remains usable for up to 7 days for uses it already covers while payment is retried; new uses unlock again once the payment succeeds.
  • We may change our prices. Price changes do not affect purchases already made; for subscriptions, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a new price applies at your next renewal, and you may cancel before then.

6. Renewals, cancellation and device changes

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time in the Stripe customer portal (Account menu → Billing and invoices in the app). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the plan stays usable until then and is not renewed.
  • Increasing the number of devices on a per-device plan is charged immediately, pro rata for the rest of the current period. If at least 25% of the billing period remains, the extra devices unlock as soon as that invoice is paid; otherwise they are charged now and unlock from the next paid renewal.
  • Decreasing the number of devices takes effect at the next renewal; the current period is not partly refunded.
  • After switching to a different plan, the new plan’s full allowance applies once an invoice for the new plan has been paid.

7. Refunds

  • Unused credits: you can ask for a refund of credits that have not been used within 14 days of purchase. For a partly used pack we refund the unused credits pro rata.
  • Used credits and exports: credits that have been used to unlock an export are not refundable, because the digital content has been supplied.
  • Subscriptions: subscription fees are not refunded for partly used periods, except where we decide otherwise or the law requires it. A refunded subscription payment ends that period’s coverage.
  • When a payment is refunded, the credits it bought are withdrawn (in proportion for a partial refund), and any unlock paid with them may be revoked.
  • If a payment is disputed with your card issuer (a chargeback), the credits or plan it paid for are suspended until the dispute is resolved. Please contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly.
  • To request a refund, email support@firewallmigrate.com from your account’s email address. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
  • If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel a purchase of digital content within 14 days. By starting a download or export within that period, you agree to immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose that right for the content supplied. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

8. Converted configurations must be reviewed

The Service assists conversion and review only. Firewall configurations are complex and vendors’ features do not map exactly onto each other. Converted configurations, reports, findings and plans may be incomplete or incorrect, and parts of a configuration may need manual work. Before deploying anything produced by the Service, you must have it reviewed and tested by a suitably qualified engineer, in a test or staged environment where possible, with a working rollback plan. Reports such as the PCI DSS rule review and post-quantum readiness report support, but do not replace, your own assessment, your auditor or a qualified security assessor. You are responsible for the configurations you deploy and for the security and availability of your networks.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and working well but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, improve or withdraw features. If we withdraw a paid product, we will give reasonable notice and refund any unused credits or prepaid unused subscription time for it.

10. Liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
  • Except as stated in these terms, the Service is provided “as is” and all other warranties, conditions and terms, whether express or implied by statute or common law, are excluded to the fullest extent the law permits.
  • We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, for network downtime, security incidents or service interruption arising from configurations you deploy, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
  • Our total liability to you arising from or in connection with the Service, in any 12-month period, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that 12-month period.
  • If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, and the exclusions above apply only as far as the law permits.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using the Service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may end these terms or suspend the Service for you if you materially breach them. On closure, unused credits and plans lapse, except where these terms provide for a refund. Sections 3, 7, 8, 10 and 13 continue to apply after the terms end.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one published here; the date at the top shows when it was last changed. We will tell you by email about significant changes that affect your subscription before they take effect.

13. Governing law

These terms and any dispute or claim arising from them or the Service (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep any protections of your local law that cannot be excluded.
